The Ninja AF181 XL Air Fryer is a 6.5-quart single-basket countertop air fryer that sits at the sweet spot between capacity and price. It reaches 450°F with 1750 watts of power and offers 6-in-1 cooking modes: Max Crisp, Air Fry, Air Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate. The nonstick basket and crisper plate are dishwasher-safe, and the detachable crisper plate lets you switch between high-heat crisping and gentler cooking. Compact footprint (14.92" × 11.3" × 12.01") makes it practical for smaller kitchens despite the large capacity. Includes a 20-recipe guide and cooking charts. Priced around $120 on sale (33% off list), it targets families and meal-preppers seeking oil-free cooking with minimal cleanup. Community reception is solid; the AF181 is a proven workhorse in r/airfryer but occasionally flagged for nonstick coating durability over extended use.
