Instant Pot Vortex 6qt XL Air Fryer

The Instant Pot Vortex 6qt XL is a single-basket air fryer from Instant (the Instant Pot brand extension), designed for families and batch cooking. Specs: 1700W, temperature range 105–400°F, 4-in-1 functions (air fry, roast, reheat, bake), 100+ in-app recipes, dishwasher-safe nonstick basket and tray. The 6qt capacity is among the largest in the countertop single-basket category, making it ideal for cooking for four or more. Key strengths include brand trust (Instant Pot's reputation in kitchen appliances), large family capacity, and dishwasher-safe parts. Trade-offs: XL footprint and weight (not suited to tiny kitchens), and some reports of uneven crisping at full capacity. Current price ~$120 (14% off list) places it in the mid-to-premium range for single-basket air fryers.
